Transmitter end of the beacon. From the top: MFJ-492 memory keyer; RadioShack HTX-100 transceiver; MFJ-4245MV power supply. Note that the frequency of the beacon transmitter is set 200 Hz high. The transceiver's frequency calibration is off by this amount. The output signal is at the proper frequency of 28.210 MHz.
The antenna end of the beacon. The feed point is near the top of the ladder. The antenna is on top of a building, about 221 ft above ground level.
